Jackfish Relaunch Behind the Scales for Behind the Scenes Access

The Welland Jackfish, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are excited to announce the all-new Behind the Scales, a behind the scenes look at the Intercounty League club.

Starting during the 2019 season, Behind the Scales started as a weekly show highlighting the games of the week, with guests and updates on the upcoming games.

“Spencer and I really loved putting that show on we really think people enjoyed them,” said Jackfish President Ryan Harrison.

The all-new Behind the Scales will give Jackfish fans access to behind the scene footage including exclusive interviews, music videos, updates on renovations at Welland Stadium, and everything that goes into planning for a summer in the Intercounty Baseball League.

“We really wanted to keep our fans updated and entertained even if we aren’t playing,” said Jackfish Director of Communications and Media Spencer Tanguay. “This new show will allow fans to be connected to the Fish twelve months a year and really see how we do what we do.”

The new Behind the Scales will kick off on Friday, July 3rd with an exclusive interview with former Welland Pirates General Manager Brian Sloan, who will speak to his time in Welland and what he thinks it takes to be successful at The Pond.

The Welland Jackfish are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
