Dadson gets the call, signs with Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières

WELLAND - The Welland Jackfish, members of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) are proud to announce that 2019 IBL Rookie of the Year Brendon Dadson has signed with the Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières of the Frontier League.

Dadson made his IBL debut in the Rose City in 2019 combining to hit .321 with 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored in 34 games played. The 22-year old has been excellent defensively playing at several positions during the 2019 campaign.

The 6'3", 220 lb. Bowmanville, Ontario native was also selected to the 2019 IBL Second Team All-Stars at first base. Joining him on the Second Team All-Star ballot are Euclides Leyer (RHP) and Wilson Soriano (SS).

The Frontier League is MLB Affiliate professional baseball league with 14 teams across the United States and Canada.

The Welland Jackfish are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League.
