Jackfish Partner with Kit Steel

Welland, Ontario - The Welland Jackfish are excited to announce they have entered into a partnership with Kit Steel, The Rebar Specialists.

"When Kit Steel opened in Welland we reached out to welcome them to the city, from there we have built a great relationship that we hope to carry on for years to come," said Jackfish President Ryan Harrison. "Kit Steel is an amazing addition to the Welland community and we cannot wait to work with Mike (Kubes) in the future!"

Kit Steel, founded in 2010 has grown from a small rebar cut and bend shop to an ISO 9001 certified rebar fabricator. In the summer of 2021 Kit Steel will open a brand new, 15,000 square-foot facility in Welland, allowing us to continue to serve and supply the Niagara region and beyond for all its rebar needs.

The Welland Jackfish are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
