Jackfish Sign Former Padre, Domínguez

Caribbean heat heads to the Rose City!

WELLAND - Niagara's Greatest Show, the Welland Jackfish, announced today that they have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher, José Domínguez for the upcoming 2025 season.

Domínguez joins the Jackfish with four seasons of Major League experience including time with San Diego, Tampa Bay, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 52 MLB games played, José recorded a 4.82 ERA with 37 strikeouts.

Spending most of his career in the minors, notably in AAA, Domínguez recorded a career 4.34 ERA with 414 strikeouts over 198 games played.

The native of San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic joins the Fish following a season with the Tigres de Chinandega of the Nicaraguan Winter League.
