May 4th Exhibition Game Cancelled

WELLAND – The Welland Jackfish, members of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), today announced that due to field conditions leading up to the May 4th exhibition game versus the Hamilton Cardinals, they must cancel the game.

"After speaking with the City of Welland it was informed to us that because of the very wet winter, the field would not be ready in time for our game" said Jackfish President/CEO Ryan Harrison.

"We thank the City of Welland for all their hard work and this extra time off the field will allow for a perfect playing surface come May 11th!"

The Welland Jackfish take to the field at Welland Stadium in May 2019. Season Memberships are now on sale for as low as $5 per ticket. To purchase visit www.wellandjackfish.com.
