Niagara’s Greatest Show Adds Another Mann to the Lineup

The Welland Jackfish, Niagara's Greatest Show, are proud to announce the signing of outfielder Ethan Mann for the 2026 season.

Mann arrives in Welland with a résumé that reads like a cheat code. The Texas native played Division I baseball at New Mexico State and Dallas Baptist University, where he piled up home runs, RBIs, and general misery for opposing pitchers. In fact, during his time at Dallas Baptist he blasted 36 home runs and drove in 140 runs over two seasons, proving that baseballs and outfield fences have a complicated relationship when he’s at the plate.

He also earned multiple All-American honors and sits second for all time single-season RBI's (80) at DBU, which is the baseball equivalent of politely asking the opposing bullpen to start warming up in the first inning.

Most recently, Mann took his talents overseas with the Stuttgart Reds in Germany’s top league, where he hit .322 with a .401 OBP and 32 stolen bases in just 30 games, apparently deciding that hitting, power, and speed should all be included in the same package.

“Ethan does a little bit of everything,” said Jackfish General Manager, Jason McKay. “He hits for power, he runs like the stadium lights just turned off, and he plays everywhere on the field.”

Primarily an outfielder, Mann also brings versatility with experience across the infield and a reputation for being the kind of high-energy teammate every dugout loves.
