Welland Jackfish Sell Out Home Opener for Third Straight Season

3,248 FINatics Expected to Pack the Pond Saturday Night

The Welland Jackfish have officially sold out their 2026 Home Opener for the third consecutive season, continuing the club’s streak as one of the wildest and hottest tickets in summer baseball.

A total of 3,248 fans will pack Welland Stadium on Saturday, May 16 at 6:05 p.m. as the Jackfish return home for a night expected to be overflowing with noise, fireworks, championship celebrations and absolute chaos.

The sold out showdown features everything you’d expect from Niagara’s Greatest Show — a 2025 Dominico Cup Championship Banner Raising, championship replica banner giveaway, post-game fireworks, player autographs and enough energy to shake the old ballpark right down Quaker Road.

Fans snapped up tickets at record pace, with box seats disappearing weeks ago before the club released a limited batch of Grass Berm General Admission tickets that were quickly swallowed up by FINatics determined to get through the gates by any means necessary.

“We honestly don’t know how to thank this community anymore,” said Jackfish President Ryan Harrison. “Three straight sold-out home openers is unbelievable. To know 3,248 people are going to be packed into Welland Stadium on Saturday night is just incredible. The FINatics have turned this place into the biggest party in baseball and we cannot wait to kick off another season at the Pond.”

The Jackfish open the 2026 season on the road on Friday, May 15, before returning home for the sold-out opener the following evening.

Fans looking to attend future games during the 2026 season are encouraged to secure tickets early, as several marquee dates are already seeing limited inventory.
