Welland Jackfish set to battle London Majors in first round of 2026 playoffs

Best-of-Seven Semi-Final Series Opens Friday Night in London; Game 2 Hits The Pond Saturday

WELLAND, ON – September 2, 2026 – The road to a championship officially runs through London and Welland.

The Welland Jackfish, seeded third entering the 2026 postseason, will face the second-seeded London Majors in a best-of-seven Semi-Final First Round playoff series, with the action getting underway Friday, September 4 at Labatt Memorial Park in London.

After opening the series on the road, the Jackfish return home to The Pond on Saturday, September 5 at 7:05 p.m. for Game 2 and the first taste of playoff baseball in Welland this September.

With two familiar rivals going head-to-head and a spot in the next round on the line, FINatics can expect an intense series from the opening pitch.
