Jackfish Announce 2026 Promotional Schedule
Time to go BIG or go home Niagara!
WELLAND - Niagara's Greatest Show, the Welland Jackfish, today are thrilled to unveil the full promotional schedule for the 2026 season.
The 2026 show season will kick off with Opening Night presented by CAA Niagara as the Fish take on the Guelph Royals. All fans in attendance for the home opener will receive a 2025 Replica Championship Banner. A total of 16 giveaways highlight the 2026 schedule, including Beach Straw Hats, bobblehead, trucker hats, koozies and BBQ Aprons.
"We really took our Go Big or Go Home motto to heart this season and have been planning this promotional schedule since the end of last season," said President and Director of Fun, Ryan Harrison.
NEW 2026 PROMOTIONAL HIGHLIGHTS:
Mulletmania Night – May 30: Dust off that flow, fluff up those feathered layers, and prepare for a night of legendary locks and questionable life choices as we celebrate the most iconic hairstyle in human history — THE MULLET. Expect outrageous hair, glorious mustaches, and enough party in the back to power a small city. Whether your mullet is real, rented, or aggressively glued on… you belong here.
Umpire Appreciation Night – June 4: Join us for Umpire Appreciation Night, where we celebrate the brave souls who stand behind the plate, endure passionate “feedback” from the stands, and somehow keep a straight face while everyone else loses their minds.
Jacquestoberfest – June 13: Grab your lederhosen, stretch your stein-lifting muscles, and prepare your taste buds for maximum bratwurst velocity… because Jacquestoberfest is taking over the ballpark! For one glorious night, the Jackfish are trading curveballs for corkscrews and fastballs for foam tops. Expect booming polka beats, questionable dance moves in the aisles, and enough pretzels to legally classify as a structural support beam.
Ginger Appreciation Night - June 18: Join the Welland Jackfish as we celebrate the rare, the radiant, the sunburn-resistant-optional legends among us. Expect fiery hair, bold vibes, and possibly more SPF than popcorn. Redheads — this is your time to shine (carefully, with sunscreen). Everyone else — come admire greatness.
The Fishies – June 27: This year, the Welland Jackfish proudly present a night of questionable awards, awkward speeches, and just enough second-hand embarrassment to make HR extremely nervous. Join us for our Office-themed Fishies Night — where EVERYONE is a winner… whether they like it or not.
Willy Wonka Night – July 18: Welcome to the electric factory for a world of pure imagination — where the foul poles are candy canes, the bullpen bubbles like a chocolate river, and the umpires may actually be Oompa Loompas with authority issues. Golden tickets will appear out of nowhere. Fizzy lifting drinks are highly encouraged. Anyone who argues a call risks immediate marshmallow entrapment. The seventh-inning stretch may involve interpretive dance… or a taffy explosion… or both.
Motorboater Night - July 25: We’re turning the ballpark into a smooth-sailing 1979 marina — yacht rock classics, captain’s hats, open linen shirts, and mustaches that mean business. Think less “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and more “Take Me Out to the Marina," and game that is built for speed or comfort!
Italian Heritage Night and Meatball Giveaway - August 15: Mangia, mangia, baby! It’s Meatball Night at the ballpark — where the sauce is red, the bats are hot, and somebody’s Nonna definitely thinks we’re not eating enough. We’re celebrating Italian heritage the only way we know how: giant meatballs, loud relatives, hand gestures from the dugout, and maybe a little “that’s-a spicy fastball!” action on the mound. Come hungry. Leave full. Yell at the umpire like he’s overcooking the pasta.

Youth Baseball Night – May 23: Youth Baseball Night with the Welland Jackfish is where little-league energy takes over the ballpark. Young players are invited to wear their team jerseys, hit the field for a pre-game parade, and soak in the big-league atmosphere — grass stains and all. It’s a night full of high-fives, big smiles, and unforgettable memories as the next generation of ballplayers gets their moment under the lights.
Country Night – June 6: Saddle up, folks 🤠 it’s County Night with the Welland Jackfish! We’re talkin’ boots in the bleachers, flannel in the front row, and more yee-haw than a seventh-inning stretch has ever seen. Trade your fancy city latte for a cold one, practice your best tractor parade wave, and get ready for a night of hardball and hay bales.
Daddy Day Game - June 21: Grab your grill-iest dad jokes and your finest cargo shorts because Daddy Day is taking over Welland Jackfish baseball for a Father’s Day celebration that’s a cut above the rest! We’ve got dad-licious deals, pun-derful contests, and more groan-worthy moments than a family road trip with no bathroom breaks. So, tell your old man to put down the remote, fire up the "well-done" steaks later, and join us for a day that’s sure to be a home run, sport!
Canada ‘eh Game – July 1: Grab your maple syrup, put on your toque, and join us for Canada Day with the Welland Jackfish as we face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs in a game that’s eh-mazing! Expect hockey-style hits, poutine-powered energy, and more moose-tacular fun than you can shake a hockey stick at. So, puck your plans, bring your eh-mazing spirit, and let’s make this night one to leaf a lasting impression, eh!
Pack the Pond – July 16: Bringing back Pack the Pond! Head over to any CAA Niagara location to pick up your tickets for FREE. Also, how could we forget, it’s Thirsty Thursday! $4 pond waters till the end of the third!
Beach Party Night – August 1: Get ready to let it all out at Beach Party Night with the Welland Jackfish, where we’ll be serving up some tropical fun and enjoying a perfect sunset, almost as good as the beach in Crystal Beach! Expect pineapple-perfect snacks, island vibes, and a game so good, you'll be shouting "Aloha!" from the stands—aloha to boring nights, that is! So, grab your grass skirts, channel your inner luaus, and let’s make this night awesome!
Weenie Night – August 22: Get ready for a dog-gone great time at Weenie Night with the Welland Jackfish, where Welland Stadium is sizzling with excitement! We’re talking ketchup-tastic fun, mustard-powered contests, and a game so bun-believable you’ll be relishing every moment. So, bring your best wiener jokes, grab a dog in each hand, and let’s make this night extra juicy! Bring out your wieners, just remember, size doesn’t matter.
